Welcome to BraveBodies yoga and Pilates classes in Woolston and Lowford. Are you looking to become more supple? Stronger? Leaner? Fitter? Do you want more energy? Do you want to be able to tie your shoelaces even when you are 165? Do you want to improve your running, or windsurfing, or just undo all your shoulder-hunching and belly-squidging behind your desk? Do you want to get rid you persistent back pain? We were born to move, not to sit. We were made to run wild, gather wood, hunt, climb trees, swim — not to sit in front of screens for twenty hours a day. Come and rediscover your body with us, and surprise yourself with what you will be able to do — and how you new body will make you feel.
I currently run two classes online — this is an outcome of the pandemic when being online was the only way to keep teaching, and a welcome development for a number of people who aren’t local to Southampton or simply want to practice from the comfort of their own home. Our classes are a great friendly mix of people of different age, gender and abilities. Men, don’t be shy to join — you will find you are in good company, whether that’s yoga, Pilates or Supple Silver!
When you come in, you will be asked to fill out a short form, so please come a bit earlier to allow for that. If you own a proper yoga or Pilates mat, please bring it, although we do supply spare equipment.
